Fifth-grade students can be chosen to be safety patrol at CRES after applying for the position. It is an honor and a responsibility that they take very seriously. There are many areas that our safety patrols assist with throughout the day, such as monitoring the hallways in the morning and afternoon as students arrive and depart. They assist in the classrooms, office, and media center. They also are responsible for raising and lowering the flag on a daily basis.
