I am honored to welcome you to Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School. As our vision states, we are a family of educators committed to meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of all students by providing a safe, engaging, and challenging environment.

We understand the work of academic achievement and social emotional development cannot be done without a culture of high expectations and the collaboration of school staff, families, and the community. We plan and implement student learning experiences that reflect strong instruction, deep engagement, on-grade-level work, and high expectations for all students. We strive to maintain the positive partnerships with families and the community that has made Oglethorpe Avenue the student-centered school it is today.

Oglethorpe Avenue is a great place for students to learn and achieve, as well as a great place to work and make a difference in the lives of students each and every day. We aim to ensure that each child is prepared academically and socially to succeed in middle school and ultimately in life.
