Academic Bowl is a scholastic competition for high school students. Teams from participating schools in Barrow, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, and Walton counties compete against each other in a series of matches before the top teams advance to the championship tournament. Questions in Academic Bowl matches cover subject matter from Georgia's high school curriculum (language arts, science, math, and social studies) as well as current events.
