Citizens are encouraged to contact us when they have a question, a concern or a suggestion. We encourage you to learn about issues that affect your children and tell us what you think.

You may contact us in several ways:

You can review the proposed policy at our online policy manual. Under "Pending Policies" you can review policies the Board of Education is considering.  Click on the link for a particular policy.  You can leave your comments in the comment box at the end of each policy.

Citizens are encouraged to attend Board of Education meetings. If you would like to speak at a regular Board of Education meeting (the second Thursday of each month), you must call the Superintendent's office at (706) 546-7721, ext. 20701 before 4:00 p.m. on the meeting day to reserve a place on the agenda.

To ensure all citizens have an opportunity to address the Board, there is a three-minute time limit on each speaker. NO SPEAKER SHALL INDULGE IN PERSONAL ATTACKS WHILE SPEAKING. ALL COMMENTS ARE TO BE ADDRESSED DIRECTLY TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION. To protect the privacy of our students, speakers shall refrain from identifying specific students by name. Personal concerns may be addressed in writing to the Superintendent or President of the Board of Education.
