Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)

  • The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is made up of teacher and parent volunteers working together for our children and the entire school community. 

    The PTA has two major fundraisers each school year to raise necessary funds. This year our major fundraisers include the Domino's Pizza Card and Krispy Kreme Doughnut Sales. Smaller fundraisers include the Back to School, Tailgate, Academic Carnival, Evening of the Arts, Chuck-E-Cheese Night and Field Day. We will also be collecting BoxTops throughout the year. Many of the things our children enjoy each day were paid for by the PTO, such as our playground, books, computers and software in the Media Center and Computer Lab.   

    Throughout the year our PTO will have three General Meetings that coincide with student events. At these meetings we will discuss upcoming activities, budgets items, and receive input from parents. Business and Committee meetings will be held on an as needed basis. All meetings are open to parents and childcare is provided as needed. 

    Our main priority is how we can best support our children and our teachers!

    We would love to hear your ideas. Come be a part of making your child’s years at Alps Road Elementary the very best they can be.
