Chase Street Distance Learning Website - (currently being updated, should be live tomorrow morning) - Access to work packets, resources, and updated information

Please plan to stay in your car - no one will be allowed in the building and we would like to minimize the number of people we have outside of the vehicles.  We are going to operate as a Drive-Thru service for picking up work packets, devices (3rd-5th grades), and medications from the Clinic.  You will need to sign out medication and devices - we ask that you bring your own pen to sign them out.

For each grade level, there are assignments that are considered “Must Do” assignments.  These need to be completed and returned to the school with the student when school resumes.  The packets include concepts that have been previously taught - we are not intending to teach new material through these packets. Additionally, there are “May Do” items for students and families who may want some additional work or activities.  These are not required.  Teachers will be reaching out to support as needed.  Your child(ren)’s teacher(s) will be available daily (Mon-Fri) from 9am - 1pm for assistance and support.

Devices (3rd-5th Grade) & Hot Spots
3rd-5th Grade students can pick up their device at the times listed above - if you have a device (laptop, computer, tablet) that can be used at home for school work, you are not required to pick them up.  Please let your homeroom teacher know if you plan on picking up your device. We have a limited number of hotspots that we are able to check out to families.  They only work with CCSD devices.  Please email me at or call me at (706) 543-1081 x 41200 and leave a message if you would like to check one out.  It will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Medication Pick-Up Times @ Chase Street Bus Loop
    Wednesday, March 18th - 8:30am-11:00am
    Thursday, March 19th - 1:00pm-3:00pm

Nurse Margie will be available via her work cell and e-mail during regular school hours. Please let Nurse Margie know if your child has daily or emergency medication at school that you will need at home during this time of school closure. You can reach her at (706)248-0836 or via email at

    Extra-Curricular Activities/Field Trips
We will cancel all extra-curricular activities and field trips (in state and out of state) and overnight trips until further notice.

Reach out if you have any questions.  We are all trying to navigate these uncharted water.  We appreciate your flexibility as we move forward.  Have a wonderful week.

    Take care and be well,
    Laura Kraus, Principal
