Science Fair

  • This page is intended to give you more information about the Chase Street Science Fair as well as resources for you to use at home.

    The Chase Street Science Fair has individual and group competitions. The Science Fair, Inventions, Science Art and Aeronautics are individual competitions while Athens Builds and Tower of Athens are team competitions with three to five team members.

    Rules


    The Chase Street Science Fair is held at the school level in order to identify participants to send to the Clarke County School District Young Scientist Fair.  

    The link above gives more information, but here is a break down of who can participant and in what areas.

    Students will complete and present independent research in the areas of Life Science (including Biology), Physical Science (including Chemistry and Physics), Earth Science (including Geology and Astronomy), Engineering and Environmental Science.
    K-2 and 3-5 awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in all categories.

    Individual and team projects may be entered into the fair. Teams may consist of no more than 3 students.
     
    *Each school may enter up to 5 projects.*
