We are pleased to offer 3rd-5th-grade students the opportunity to explore the skill of public speaking, rhetoric, and oratory through our involvement with the Optimist Oratorical Contest each year. The Optimist Oratorical Contest is one of the organization’s most popular programs, first conducted in 1928, with more than 2,000 clubs participating annually.
