This is an extraordinary program that enables the past to not be forgotten, but celebrated. The great accomplishments, varying from academia to the arts of African descendants are highlighted from Africa to the Americas and the Caribbean. The nighttime event highlights the great contributions that make America great. Community involvement is incorporated into the festivities. This student-led program exhibits the rich culture of African descendants in America and the rest of the world.
