The JROTC department sponsors two competitive drill teams, competitive and ceremonial Color Guards and the Honor Guard (Saber Team). Participation is limited to students enrolled in JROTC. The Color Guard competes throughout the Southeast in regional drill meets and presents the US Color at events including football games and other group ceremonies in Athens. The Honor Guard presents the saber arch for the homecoming court, military ball, and graduation.
