LEARNING ABOUT CCSD FAMILIES THROUGH THE AWP

The Clarke County School District is committed to serving our students and their families as effectively as possible. We are participating in the Athens Wellbeing Project to gather information from families about their needs, concerns and hopes through a community survey. The project is a collaboration between CCSD and other local organizations including the Athens Housing Authority, United Way of Northeast Georgia, the Athens Area Community Foundation, the University of Georgia and more.

The survey has been distributed to randomly selected residents in Clarke County. It is anonymous so all participants’ privacy is protected.

If you’ve been selected for the survey, you received a postcard notice or you may be visited by a survey team made up of UGA students and neighborhood leaders from Family Connections-Communities in Schools of Athens.

Please take 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. It will help us better understand the needs and hopes of families across the county and work with community partners to better serve students. One example of how we will use survey data is in the development of a CCSD health clinic for students. We want to keep students healthy so they will be in class and learning!

Completing the survey comes with an extra perk—everyone who finishes the survey will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $100 VISA gift card.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact Claire Suggs at suggsc@clarke.k12.ga.us or visit the Athens Wellbeing Project website.
