Every year, CCSD students have the opportunity to participate in a district-wide competition of art and writing designed to provide education and connection to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and participation in celebrations such as the UGA Freedom Breakfast. Student winners are showcased in a video, commemorative poster, and invited to attend the annual Freedom Breakfast.
