Georgia Department of Education Releases 2022 CCRPI Scores

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) today released the modified 2022 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) scores. The Clarke County School District had some bright spots in the data — including substantial progress toward English Language proficiency for elementary school students, increases in some content mastery scores, and higher percentages of high school students in dual enrollment and advanced academic pathways. But the district also saw drops over the last three years in other content mastery areas and literacy rates and trails the state averages in several data points.

“We have new baselines for our data,” said CCSD Superintendent Dr. Robbie Hooker. “We know exactly where we need to grow in 2022-23 and beyond. We have a long way to go in terms of catching up with the state and with other school districts in the area, but we are making rigorous instruction a focal point and are committed to providing the resources and support our teachers and students need to achieve those gains.”
