The Clarke County Board of Education will interview the three candidates for the vacant District 2 seat at its Thursday, Jan. 12 meeting and plans to make an appointment during the meeting. 

Following the resignation of former District 2 board member Kirrena Gallagher last month, three District 2 residents submitted applications for appointment to the vacant seat. The board will appoint a replacement to the vacant seat, pursuant to state law. 

The following candidates, all District 2 residents, submitted applications and will be considered Thursday. Click on their names to view their applications.
