The Clarke County Board of Education called meeting for Monday, Feb. 20, has been canceled.

The Clarke County Board of Education will hold a called meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, in the Vernon Payne Meeting Hall at the Clarke County School District Office, 595 Prince Ave., Athens.

The lone business item on the agenda will be to approve an amendment to the intergovernmental agreement between the school district and the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County related to the Mall Area TAD (tax-allocation district) project. The board tabled a vote on the proposed amendment at its most recent meeting on Feb. 9.
