The Clarke County Board of Education and the Athens-Clarke County Commission will hold a joint called meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. in the Vernon Payne Meeting Hall at the District Office, 595 Prince Ave., Athens.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss youth development and violence prevention in the community. 

The meeting is open to the public.
