Summer Reading at the Library

LibraryReaders of all ages are invited to explore the animal kingdom this summer during the 2021 "Tails and Tales" Summer Reading Program at the Athens-Clarke County Library! Summer Reading helps young people build a lifelong love of reading and keeps their minds active and engaged all summer long. Sign up now to track the books you read, earn cool badges and prizes, and participate in fun activities - both online and at the library!

The Summer Reading Program is free and open to everyone, from babies to adults, and runs from June 1-July 31. There are a lot of exciting things planned, including fun programs and events, prize drawings, storytimes, book clubs, and more. Pre-registration for “Tails and Tales” begins on Friday, May 14th. For more information, stop by the library (open full hours starting May 17), call 706-613-3650, check out this Summer Reading video or visit the website at http://athenslibrary.org/summer-reading-program.
