"An optimal level of parental involvement impacts our students' academic performance, enhances our school climate, and elevates our success as a school." - Dr. Swade Huff, CCHS Principal

Registering Your Child as a Student at CCHS

In order to attend Clarke Central High School, families must first register their student with the Clarke County School District. Instructions for this process can be found on the CCSD website. Once students are registerd, they will make an appointment to meet with one of the school's counselors to create a class schedule.

CCHS Attendance Office

Daily attendance and active participation in each class are critical parts of the learning process. A significant role of today’s high school is to help students learn to understand and appreciate the importance of punctuality and regular attendance.  It can be difficult to make up missed class work, especially in a 90-minute class, since there is no substitute for the actual participation in daily classroom instructional activities, discussions, and assignments.  Every effort should be made to attend regularly and be on time.

When a student is absent from school, a parent/guardian must submit an excuse note using this form. Additional information regarding absences, checking students out early, dropping students off at school, and other attendance issues can be found at the CCHS Attendance Office website (bit.ly/cenattendance).
