Greetings Hilsman Family,

I am excited for and humbled by the opportunity to serve as your principal. As your principal, I will work relentlessly to foster a safe and academically innovative school environment, wherein students and staff members feel empowered and inspired to pursue excellence. My prior educational experience includes 10 years of experience as a math instructional coach and 9 years as an assistant principal. Those experiences helped shape my instructional practices, fostered my ability to build strong partnerships between my school and external stakeholders, and most importantly helped me develop the leadership skills of my students.

Hilsman has always been an amazing school that has and will continue to build the future leaders of our community and the world. My goal is to partner with our students, teachers, parents, and community partners to forge a path for students toward college and career success. You can expect a 100% commitment from me to empower, inspire, and challenge our students and staff to recognize their gifts and talents and to leverage our collective gifts to pursue collective success. As we continue to grow as a family, we will celebrate and acknowledge our diversity while working collectively to build a strong and resilient Hilsman community.
