Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary proudly inducted our 2025–2026 Safety Patrol members this morning! These dedicated student leaders play an important role in keeping our school safe and welcoming each day.
The Safety Patrol assists with morning and afternoon arrival and dismissal, helps younger Wildcats safely out of cars and buses, raises and lowers the flag with respect, keeps our hallways and grounds clean, and models responsibility for all students.
Aligned with our Leader in Me habits, Safety Patrol members demonstrate what it means to be proactive, dependable, and service-minded. Their leadership helps set a positive tone for our entire school community.
As we move up, up, and away into another incredible school year, we are proud of these students for stepping into such an important role and for embodying the values of safety, kindness, and leadership that make OAES strong.
