It was evident that her influence had gone beyond academics—she truly helped the kids become more confident and independent. Mr. Mize is so a wonderful in a multitude of ways. He finds ways to connect with students and is probably a favorite of so many. Before we got to know him this year, “Mr. Mize” is a name that we often heard around the house already. Mr. Mize is the coolest!  

She’s very caring teach and has a lot of patience with kids.  

Ms Moon has been a new face and a fantastic helper this year in Emile’s class.

My daughter can be challenging at times but Ms. Siddiqua has always been understanding and has tried to help in anyway she can. She has also communicated very well with us this year which we truly appreciate. She is such a great teacher and truly cares for her students.

Ms. Singh is far more than just an elementary school librarian; she is a true magician in how she transforms the library into a place where creativity and learning come alive. Beyond her duties, she creates an environment that is both magical and educational. She brings a unique energy to the school with her morning announcements and newscasts, turning them into exciting, informative experiences that engage the entire student body. One of the things that makes Ms. Singh stand out is her incredible ability to connect with each student individually. I’ve witnessed her recognizing kids by name and making them feel seen and special, no matter how big or small the interaction. This personal touch helps build a sense of community and encourages every student to engage with learning in a deeper way. She constantly looks for new ways to engage the kids and the community. She involves them in the creative process, educates them on how media works, and gives them the chance to be part of the newscasts. She also invites guest speakers, including famous authors, offering students the rare opportunity to interact with their role models. Ms. Singh pours her heart into everything she does, often going beyond her duties, taking on extra work, and putting in unpaid hours to make these projects come to life. Her efforts often go unrecognized, but they have an enormous impact on both the students and the community. She is a mastermind at making learning fun, interactive, and deeply engaging. Thank you, Ms. Singh, for everything you do to make the library a place of magic and creativity. Your dedication, personal connections with students, and constant innovation are truly appreciated, even if they sometimes go unnoticed.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the teachers and staff for making my elementary school years so awesome! From the very first day, I’ve felt welcomed and supported by everyone here. You’ve all made school such a fun and exciting place to be. To all the teachers: thank you for not just teaching us lessons but for always caring about us as people. You’ve helped us grow so much, not just in all the subjects, but also in learning how to be kind, independent, and confident. You always made the classroom feel like a place where we could ask questions and be ourselves. To the staff: thank you for making the school run so smoothly and for always being there when we need help. Whether it’s in the lunchroom, the office, or the hallways, you’ve made this school feel like a safe and happy place. I’m so grateful for all the memories I’ve made here and for how much I’ve learned. I’m excited to move on to middle school, but I’ll always remember the amazing people who helped make years at OAES the most spectacular! Thank you again, everyone, for all that you do!
