Dear Whitehead Road Elementary Families,

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a relaxing, safe, and fun summer break! As the start of the 2026–2027 school year quickly approaches, I wanted to share some important information to help your family prepare for a successful beginning to the year.

We are excited to welcome our scholars back on Wednesday, August 5, and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and partnership with our wonderful families.

School Supply Lists

School supply lists are available by grade level using the link below:

Families are welcome to bring school supplies to our Back-to-School Bash (Meet Your Teacher) to help students get settled before the first day.

School Uniforms

We will continue with school uniforms for the 2026–2027 school year. Thank you for supporting a consistent, safe, and focused learning environment for all of our scholars.

After-School Program (ASP)

The After-School Program (ASP) provides a safe, relaxed, and enriching environment for all CCSD elementary students in grades PK–5. ASP is available every day school is in session, including the first day of school.

New for the 2026–2027 School Year

Beginning this school year, ASP will transition from the ProCare platform to Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Additionally, any student participating in after-school extracurricular activities—including cheer, athletics, clubs, tutoring, or other school-sponsored programs—must be registered in the After-School Program (ASP). This requirement helps ensure that all students are safely supervised and accounted for during after-school hours. Families should complete ASP registration prior to their child's participation in any after-school activity.

Registration

Returning ASP Students

  • Students who participated in ASP last year are already registered.

  • Any existing credit or balance will automatically transfer to Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.

New ASP Students

  • New students may register using the online ASP registration form.

  • You will need your student's six-digit student ID. If you do not know the ID, simply follow the instructions provided in the registration form.

  • There is no registration fee for the 2026–2027 school year.

Tuition

ASP tuition must be paid in advance.

  • $8 per day for one student

  • $6 per day for each additional student in the household

  • CCSD employees receive a discounted rate during registration.

Please note that any outstanding ASP balance from the previous school year must be be paid before a student may participate in the program.

Payments

Payments may be made:

  • Online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

  • By cash or check at the school

Directions for accessing Parent Portal for the first time can be found here. The portal will be available to accept payments beginning July 25, 2026.

Transportation

If your scholar meets any of the following conditions, please complete the district transportation request form:

  • Is new to CCSD and needs bus transportation to and/or from school.

  • Has moved to a new address.

  • Did not ride the bus last year but will need transportation this school year.

Submitting transportation requests early helps ensure routes are assigned before the first day of school.

  • 3:30 p.m.

    – Welcome for new Whitehead Road families

  • 4:00–6:00 p.m.

    – Meet Your Teacher

First Day of School - Wednesday, August 5

Daily Schedule

  • Bus Arrival:

    7:10 a.m.

  • Car Rider Drop-Off:

    7:15 a.m.

  • Tardy Bell:

    7:40 a.m.

  • Dismissal:

    2:40 p.m.
