Dear Winterville Families,

I am absolutely thrilled and filled with excitement as we embark on another incredible year together. The energy in our building is electric, and the sense of purpose and promise for what’s ahead is undeniable. Over the past years, we’ve made meaningful growth and powerful strides as a school community. We are truly on an upward trajectory—moving closer and closer to seeing our vision come to life in real, tangible ways.

At Winterville Elementary, we believe in setting the bar high. We hold high expectations—for ourselves as educators, for our scholars as learners, and for our families as partners in this journey. Please know that we are not expecting perfection. What we are expecting is excellence fueled by effort, growth, and a shared commitment to doing what’s best for our children.

As we partner together, I am confident that our scholars will have a rich and rewarding educational experience. When home and school work together, there is no limit to what our students can achieve. We are deeply committed to ensuring every scholar knows their worth, understands their potential, and begins to see in themselves the greatness that we already see. We will also teach them how to lead themselves through Leader in Me so that they are prepared to become leaders of others in the future.
