Mission

  • The Cedar Shoals High School Counseling Department addresses the academic, social, and career needs of all students through the delivery of a comprehensive school counseling program. Counselors work to remove barriers to learning to promote equity and access in secondary education and post-secondary success. Our school counseling program is collaborative in nature – building relationships with students, families, teachers, administrators, community members and district leaders – and is accountable through data analysis and program reevaluation to adapt to the evolving needs of our student population.
