The Clarke County Board of Education will hold a two-day retreat Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19, at the Rivet House, 355 Oneta St., Athens. The retreat is a public meeting and open to the community, though there will not be a public comment period.
The retreat will begin Friday with a call to order at 6 p.m. and BOE member training. Saturday’s session will begin at 9 a.m. and include a board manual review, roundtable discussions between board members and district leadership, and a closed session.
