Teachers: There is a Place for you here

Teaching in this community gives me the privilege of working with children from all different backgrounds, and it allows me to guide them in embracing differences, seeking to understand others, and practicing empathy.
I believe every child has unique gifts, and it’s my role to nurture and showcase those talents. Teaching, for me, is about more than academics; it’s about building confidence, character, and a lifelong love of learning.
Every day, I come to work knowing I’m part of something bigger than myself, a community that lifts one another up, celebrates every small victory, and supports each other through challenges. Teaching isn’t just a job to me, it’s a calling."
When I witness the beauty of students understanding and using the skills taught in kindergarten, my heart lights up with joy. My students are eager to learn and show enthusiasm for school. I love being able to provide those 'aha' moments.
As a former English learner myself, I connect deeply with my students and enjoy helping them build foundational reading and writing skills through phonics, collaborative learning, and joint productive activities.
