The Clarke County School District still has pre-K spots open for the 2025-26 school year at both its early learning centers and several elementary schools. Students must turn 4 years old by September 1, 2025, to be eligible for pre-K in CCSD.
Registration is ongoing and can be done entirely online. More information about registration — including required documents and a link to the online registration application — can be found at www.clarke.k12.ga.us/registration.
The district currently has spots available at the following schools:
Early Learning Center East
Early Learning Center West
Barrow Elementary
Fowler Drive Elementary
Gaines Elementary
J.J. Harris Elementary
Bettye H. Holston Elementary
Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary
Howard B. Stroud Elementary
Whit Davis Elementary
Whitehead Road Elementary
Winterville Elementary.
Students are assigned to schools based on their residential address. A street-by-street index with school assignments can be found here.
Prior to completing the online registration application, families should have the following information ready:
Two proofs of residency, dated within 30 days of the registration date
Parent/guardian ID
Student's birth certificate
Student's Social Security card
Georgia Immunization Form 3231
