Our PAGE Future Educators Club continues to shine—both in and out of the classroom! This week, members volunteered at the Northeast Georgia Food Bank, helping assemble food boxes for senior citizens in need. Their efforts reflect not only their dedication to becoming future teachers but also to ACCA's core belief that service is an essential part of learning and leadership. The PAGE Future Educators Club, sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators, gives students interested in education the chance to grow through service, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that prepare them for life beyond high school. We officially cut the ribbon on our new Biotechnology/Biomanufacturing lab! 🧪✨ Community members, industry leaders, and generous donors toured the space and watched live demonstrations by our amazing students and their instructor, Stan Harrison. This new pathway introduces CCSD students to the science of using biological processes to create real-world solutions. Yet again Dr. Hylton and her Environmental Science students put on an inspiring presentation about how to build more sustainable cities! Families and community members attended to learn and see the students showcase their skills.

Last Friday, the Culinary pathway catered a holiday party for the Plant Services department. Plant Services is the department in the Clarke County School District that is responsible for building schools and making sure they are properly in shape for students, teachers, and any other people. So, to express our thanks to those workers, Chef Amy, who is our Culinary pathway teacher, invited them to a fest served and cooked by the culinary students. The students did pretty much everything to make sure the people at the Plant Services department were enjoying their time dining in our Bistro.
