Benefits of Youth Sports

Effective youth sports programs actively work to assure positive outcomes through developmentally appropriate designs and supportive relationships. Research supports that participating in youth sports can lead to immediate and long-term benefits for youth, their families, and communities. Youth who have the desire to participate in youth sports should have the opportunity regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, or ability.
