Alps Families,
We are excited to announce another opportunity for our students to gain valuable skills. The Alps Road Elementary After School Academy is a program that provides 2nd -5th grade students with an opportunity to accelerate his/her learning. Each session will run from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on a selected number of Tuesdays and Thursdays. The students will receive small group instruction in Language arts/Reading and Math. The program is free of charge and participants will receive a snack. Transportation from the program will be provided for students that are in the Alps Road Elementary School Zone.
In order for your child to benefit from the program, you must consent to full participation. Regular attendance is required. If you would like your child to participate, please fill out this form:

CCSD Announces Budget, Millage Rate Public Hearings
The Clarke County Board of Education gave tentative approval to a fiscal year 2023 budget of $189,130,354 on May 12, 2022, and has set the dates for three public hearings on the budget and millage rate.

The Cedar Shoals Energy Education Team and the combined Science, Energy and Adventure Team from Clarke and Hilsman middle schools have both been honored with state and national awards.

CCSD Office of Early Learning Expands Services for Children with New Center on East Side
On May 2, the Clarke County School District Early Head Start program’s youngest students took their first steps into school at the recently-renovated Early Learning Center East.
