An ad hoc committee of the Clarke County Board of Education will hold a called meeting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 25, to discuss the district policy governing the naming and renaming of district facilities.
The meeting will be held in Room 136 at the District Office, 595 Prince Ave., Athens, and will be open to the public.
The board voted earlier this year to establish the ad hoc committee of three board members to review and revise Policy FDC, specifically focusing on the procedures and criteria for renaming facilities within the district. The committee includes board members Mark Evans, Linda Davis, and Dr. Patricia Yager.
