  • The Cedar Shoals Counseling Department envisions all students will graduate with the knowledge, skills, and character to succeed in our community and the global society. Students will achieve their post-secondary goals with the competence and readiness gained from a rigorous high school curriculum and positive high school climate. Cedar Shoals High School graduates are culturally competent and recognize the importance of giving back to the community.

Mission

  • The Cedar Shoals High School Counseling Department addresses the academic, social, and career needs of all students through the delivery of a comprehensive school counseling program. Counselors work to remove barriers to learning to promote equity and access in secondary education and post-secondary success. Our school counseling program is collaborative in nature – building relationships with students, families, teachers, administrators, community members and district leaders – and is accountable through data analysis and program reevaluation to adapt to the evolving needs of our student population.
