🌟 Growing Leaders! 🌟 Today, our Student Leadership Council traveled to our CCSD district office for a leadership conference, diving into activities on leadership styles, team building, and public speaking. This incredible experience aligns with our Leader in Me journey, helping students strengthen skills that empower them to lead with confidence and purpose. 🌍🎉 Hispanic Heritage Gallery Walk 🎉🌍 Our Wildcats took an incredible journey around the Hispanic world today! After weeks of hard work curating beautiful exhibits for their assigned countries, students explored the vibrant cultures of Argentina, Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela with their very own passports. Through this experience, our students practiced important Leader in Me habits—Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood by listening to and appreciating the perspectives of others, and Habit 6: Synergize by working together to create amazing exhibits that highlighted the unique beauty of each country. We are so proud of the collaboration and understanding our Wildcats showed, and we couldn’t be prouder of all the effort that made this event so special! #HispanicHeritageMonth #GalleryWalk #LeaderInMe #Synergize #SeekFirstToUnderstand #CulturalExploration #OAESWildcats
