The Clarke County School District is utilizing a new tool to manage the "business" of the Board of Education (BOE).
BoardDocs is a web tool providing the public with access to policies, meeting information, agenda items, supporting documents, complete voting history, minutes, and more. As a BOE meeting progresses, this tool enables the recording secretary to capture the results of each agenda item live. Documents made public during the course of a meeting are attached within 24 hours of Board approval.
BoardDocs removes the need for an additional document outlining the results of the meeting (i.e. Board Briefs). Stakeholders who are unable to attend the meeting can simply click on a meeting agenda and view the results via the web.
In addition to the information captured through BoardDocs, BOE meetings are recorded with the video links posted in several locations on the CCSD website.
