As we near the halfway point of the school year, we would like to remind you to review and update your contact information to receive timely notifications from the Clarke County School District. If you have any questions, please contact your student’s school.
Reminders
- Information is sent to the email addresses and phone numbers listed in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You may select the method(s) (email, phone, text) which best suits your preference.
- When “all call” phone messages are sent, they go to all phone numbers listed for a student. Therefore, multiple family members will receive the same message.
- In order to receive text messages, parents/guardians must select this option, as a data carrier may charge for text messaging.
- Attendance notifications are sent each day at 4:00 p.m. to all the delivery methods listed in Infinite Campus, including email and phone. Text messaging can be enabled by the parent/guardian.
Weather/Emergency Communication
The CCSD works in close contact with local and state emergency authorities to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff.
In the event of a school closure/delay, CCSD will notify parents/guardians through the contact information in Infinite Campus, in addition to the following methods:
- District and school social media pages and websites
- Athens-Clarke County media outlets
- Metro Atlanta media outlets (WSB TV/Channel 2, WXIA/11 Alive, WAGA/Fox 5, and WGCL/CBS 46)
