CCSD Aspiring Leaders Program

  • Aspiring Leaders graphicThe CCSD Aspiring Leaders Program is a year-long, cohort-based professional learning experience designed for CCSD personnel who have demonstrated leadership potential and have a desire to gain skills, insights, and strategies to strengthen their capacity to lead and influence. Participants will learn from educational leaders within the school district as well as partner institutions. The program will focus on the components of the Leading Better Together framework during 10 sessions – including orientation, eight learning modules, and a capstone session. The program runs from August to June. (Click HERE for the full calendar). Attendance at each session (a mixture of half-day and full-day sessions) is required.

To be eligible to apply, you must have a minimum of three years of experience in education (five years preferred), and at least one of those years should be completed in CCSD by the start of the program. Applicants should possess a clear, renewable certificate, have earned a master’s degree, and have a desire to serve in a formal leadership role. If you are unsure whether you meet the eligibility requirements, contact your supervisor for additional clarification.

Click HERE or on the button below to apply. You must submit your application no later than April 12, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. to be considered for the 2024-25 program. A recommendation form from your supervisor is required, and a link to the form will be sent directly to them after you complete the application. After the selection committee reviews your application, you will be notified if you are selected to continue on to the second round of the process, which will include an in-person interview. Cohort members will be selected from the second phase.
